The Winstedt Project

In which I set out to fill in the cracks of the unused Winstedt Campus courtyard with pulped paintings. This act imagines the past life of playtime the courtyard must have seen, with its old tenants of schoolchildren. How they must have played on the courtyard, or sat on the steps during recess time, watching others play... The ritual of remembrance hopefully draws viewers to walk on these forgotten steps again, and look at a place long "invisible" to its users.

Materials: paper pulp, Chinese pigment
