Bukang Liwayway (BL) is a non-profit organisation that reaches out to the slum communities of the Philippines, and is where I served from 2019-2020. I had the opportunity to conduct a workshop at a college camp for youths in the BL program. I got the participants to write down or things they regretted or wanted to let go of. Then each person pulped their paper and made something new out of it to bring home. The new paper made may be rough and stained, but it is stronger than ever, and can be fashioned into something completely different.
